Hawk's Internet Backbone Technology
and Infrastructure
Verio, Hawk Internet's backbone provider, has spent millions
developing and deploying an advanced nationwide network to provide its 200,000+ customers
the world's best Internet services.
Verio's
Internet Backbone Network Operations Center
The network is monitored 7 days a week, 24
hours a day by the Network Operations Center (NOC) in Dallas, Texas. The NOC provides
network monitoring, performance and traffic management to both the national and ISP
networks. It also furnishes real-time network status. In addition, the NOC serves
the National Network with real-time alarming, event correlation, forecasting and
notifications of network events. Verio's
national engineering group, strengthened by its regional engineering teams, constantly
monitors and upgrades network technology whenever and wherever appropriate.
